After two months of isolation, we were more than ready to get outside, but where to go? Everywhere we looked COVID-19 was on the rise, and traveling to other states meant lots of contact with folks; some wearing masks, some not so much.
We decided to camp in our home state instead, sticking to mid-week trips, and along the way completing our bucket list to camp all of the 28 State Parks in Kansas. Mid-summer we discovered Wolf Creek Group Campground at Pomona Lake, a US Corps of Engineers park. We would return again and again to this charming little camp with a small group of friends. Rail Trail biking with our friend David was our major activity, plus hiking and bocci and kayak and campfire time.
Here is a photo record of those eleven outings during the summer of 2020.
